These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Humanize AI at humanize-ai.app. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. Please read them carefully, as they explain your rights and responsibilities.
Acceptance of terms
By using Humanize AI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You also confirm that you are old enough to form a binding agreement under the laws of your country, or that you have permission from a parent or guardian. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Description of the service
Humanize AI is a free online tool that rewrites AI-generated or machine-like text so it reads more naturally, and shows an estimated AI-detection score for your content. You can paste text or upload files in supported formats such as PDF, DOCX, TXT, and HWP, and the tool works across many languages. The service does not require an account, and the text and files you submit are processed in real time and are not permanently stored. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Humanize AI only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects others. When using the service, you must not: submit or generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, including material that is defamatory, hateful, or violates someone else's rights; engage in plagiarism or academic dishonesty in violation of your institution's rules; use automated tools, bots, or scraping to abuse, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service; or resell, rebrand, or commercially redistribute the service without our written permission. We may restrict or block access if we believe these rules are being broken.
Academic and professional integrity
Humanize AI is an editing aid designed to improve tone and readability; it is not a license to cheat. You are solely responsible for following the rules and policies of your school, university, employer, or any other institution that governs your work. You must not use the service to deceive graders, reviewers, clients, or employers, or to present work in a way that breaks those rules. If you are unsure whether a particular use is permitted, check with the relevant institution before relying on the tool.
No guarantee of results
The quality of humanized text and the AI-detection scores we display are estimates, not guarantees. AI detectors vary widely and can produce false positives and false negatives, so we cannot promise that any output will pass, bypass, or evade any specific detector or reviewer. Results depend on your input and on factors outside our control. You should always review and edit the output yourself before relying on it for any important purpose.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the text and files you submit, and of the humanized output you receive, to the extent you held rights in the original content. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit any content you provide. The Humanize AI name, website, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws; you may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer them except as allowed by law.
Advertising
Humanize AI is free and supported by advertising, and we display ads through Google AdSense and related partners. Ads and any third-party content shown on the site are governed by the terms and privacy policies of the respective advertisers and ad networks, not by us. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any output or detection score will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Humanize AI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunities, reputation, or profits arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. This includes any consequences that result from relying on humanized output or detection scores. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Humanize AI after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, please stop using the service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws apply to you. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be handled in accordance with those applicable laws.
